For Harlem, the previous two presidential elections (2008 and 2012) were times of unity and celebration. It was historical not only because Americans elected a Black president but also because of the emotional energy that was shared by people of all colors.
Come 2016, with two controversial candidates, the streets of Harlem on election day has everything from Trump supporters to concerned community members to a revolutionary group campaigning not to vote.
