Women in abusive relationships in Harlem say they lack resources to seek help. Factors like language barriers, fear of deportation and lack of centers plays a major role. While Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx currently have centers where women can turn for help, Manhattan is still behind in providing Family Justice Centers for battered women.
