Voters enter the site and first head to the Information Desk to find their respective Election District (ED) and Assembly District (AD) depending on their address
The voters then go to their respective tables where the inspectors hand them the paper ballots with a privacy sleeve to shield their marked answers

Voters then proceed to the privacy booth for casting their secret ballot
After casting their secret paper ballot, voters have to scan their sheet of paper at the new scanner machines introduced for the first time this year
All the voters had the option to get a tutorial at the various learning centers before the day of the election to get acquainted to the new system
For people who need special assistance with their vote (especially those who are blind) can use the BMD or Ballot Marking Device.
The device has options for hearing along with a braille keypad, making it easier for people with disabilities to cast their vote.
All the election sites are in compliance with the ADA (American Disabilities Act).
Coordinators are the ultimate supervisors who make sure that everything goes as planned.
A cop from the NYPD is deployed at all the election sites at all times for security purposes. They also have the responsibility of collecting the ballots from the coordinator and securely taking it back to their precincts
An interpreter is provided at some of the polling sites depending on the population residing the area.
